Why we collect it and how it is used
We use the information you provide to respond to inquiries, evaluate Discovery Assessment responses, deliver coaching and education services, administer memberships and class registrations, schedule sessions, and communicate about your program.
Who may have access
Access is limited to Nexus team members who need the information to perform their work, and to outside service providers that help us operate. Those providers may include website hosting, email and communication tools, scheduling tools, form and assessment tools, and a third-party payment processor. Payment card processing is handled by the external payment processor and full card details are not stored by Nexus.
How long we keep information
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide services and for a reasonable period afterward. Certain business, tax, payment, or legal records may need to be retained even after a deletion request.
Your requests
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information where legally permitted. Submit a request through our Data & Privacy Requests page.
How we protect information
Nexus maintains internal data security standards that include:
- Need-to-know access only
- Strong passwords
- Multi-factor authentication where available
- Approved storage locations only
- No sensitive client data stored casually on personal devices or unapproved accounts
- Routine access reviews
- Secure deletion when records are no longer required
- Incident-response procedures
- Vendor and security review procedures
- A written data-retention schedule
If a client portal or database is added in the future, it will use strong access controls and row-level security so users can only access information they are authorized to view.
Children
Youth financial education is arranged through a parent or guardian. Nexus does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through this website without parental involvement.
